Configuration

In order for the extension to work properly, make sure to follow all the steps listed below.

Step 1 - Install the Extension

First, you have to install the extension in Magento 2. Should you need some help with the installation, you can find it in MagentoDevDocs.

 

Step 2 - Magento 2 Configuration Settings

First, find your Facebook Pixel Code on your Facebook Analytics account and copy it.

Then, follow the path from the Magento 2 admin panel: Stores > Configuration > Facebook Pixel.

 

Here are the general extension settings:

• Enable - choose Yes to enable the extension
• Facebook Pixel Code - paste your Facebook Pixel Code here

 

Step 3 - Facebook Pixel Events

Enable or disable the events you want to track in your store. Here are the events:

 

• Enable ViewContent Event

• Enable Search Event

• Enable AddToCart Event

• Enable AddToWishlist Event

• Enable InitiateCheckout Event

• Enable AddPaymentInfo Event

• Enable Purchase Event

• Enable Lead Event

• Enable CompleteRegistration Event
